The Scripture of 2 Tim 2:3 & 4 stood out for me. Keeping my eyes on the prize can be likened to a fine soldier who lets nothing distract him from his prize. Compared to the prize that the soldiers got, Jehovah promises us everlasting life – the best prize we could get .

We DID enjoy tour number 9! I must admit, when he said ‘the suit of armor’, I thought I would be able to anticipate what he would say. I wasn’t able to. So I appreciate how the tour was able to take something we read and study about and make it come to life in a fresh and interesting way. I also appreciate how he took what we learned and helped us to apply it to ourselves. One of the friends in our group mentioned how the tour also helped us to have more appreciation for the Bible because we could see what the Bible writer saw in his day and therefore get a better understanding of what he meant when he used certain words or expressions. We felt the same. I didn’t realize how easy it is to take an expression or a word for granted.
